Injection Moulds Designed for Stable Production

A mould is more than a tool \u2014 it is the foundation of your production output. Our injection moulds are engineered for dimensional accuracy, consistent fill, and long service life. From prototype tooling to multi-cavity production moulds, each mould is designed, manufactured, and validated to deliver parts that meet your specifications across every production run.

What We Offer

Mould Solutions

01

Prototype Mould Development

Low-volume moulds built for design validation and functional testing. Enables rapid iteration with aluminium or soft steel tooling before committing to production moulds.

02

Production Mould Manufacturing

High-precision steel moulds engineered for long production runs. Built to tight tolerances with proper cooling, ejection systems, and surface finishes for consistent part quality.

03

Multi-Cavity Mould Solutions

Moulds designed with multiple cavities to increase output per cycle. Cavitation layouts are balanced for even fill, pressure distribution, and dimensional consistency across all cavities.

04

Hot Runner Mould Systems

Hot runner technology eliminates runner waste and reduces cycle time. Ideal for high-volume production where material efficiency and part consistency are critical.

05

Insert & Overmoulding Moulds

Moulds designed for multi-material and insert-moulding applications. Precision tooling that accommodates metal inserts, overmoulded components, and complex material combinations.

06

Custom & Complex Mould Designs

Specialised mould designs for undercut features, threaded components, collapsible cores, and other complex geometries that require advanced tooling engineering.

Technical Considerations

Engineering Decisions That Define Mould Performance

Material Flow Behavior

Understanding how resin fills the cavity — flow rate, viscosity, and pressure distribution — is fundamental to mould design. We simulate fill patterns to identify potential short shots, weld lines, and air traps before steel is cut.

Cooling Efficiency

Uniform cooling reduces warpage, cycle time, and residual stress. Cooling channel layouts are designed to remove heat evenly from thick sections, corners, and core features.

Gate and Runner Layout

Gate type, size, and placement directly affect fill balance, cosmetic appearance, and part strength. We select and position gates to minimise weld lines, flow marks, and post-mould finishing.

Part Ejection

Proper ejection system design — pin placement, stripper plates, air blasts — ensures parts release cleanly without deformation, sticking, or cosmetic damage during high-volume production.

Tool Durability

Mould life depends on material selection, surface treatment, and maintenance planning. We specify appropriate steel grades, heat treatments, and coating options based on expected production volume and resin type.

Mould Validation Process

From Design to Stable Production Output

1

Part Design Review & DFM

We analyse the part design for mouldability — checking wall thickness, draft angles, undercuts, and feature placement to ensure the geometry can be produced reliably in a mould.

2

Mould Design & Engineering

The mould is designed with appropriate cavity layouts, cooling channels, ejection systems, and gate placements. All design decisions are driven by part requirements and production targets.

3

Material & Component Specification

Steel grades, hardness requirements, standard components, and surface treatments are specified to match the expected production volume, resin type, and part quality requirements.

4

Mould Manufacturing

The mould is machined, assembled, and finished with close attention to cavity surfaces, parting lines, and moving components. Every element is built to the tolerances defined in the design.

5

T1 Sampling & Validation

First shots are taken to verify fill, dimensions, and cosmetic quality. Issues identified are corrected through mould modifications before the mould is approved for production use.

A mould that has been properly designed, manufactured, and validated transitions smoothly to consistent production \u2014 delivering parts that meet your specifications run after run.
